Passport photo creator for travelers

Passport Photo DIY is a utilities and tools program for creating ready-to-print passport photos at home. This is similar to Passport Photo Maker and IDPhotoStudio Portable. The app provides passport sizes appropriate for Australia, Canada, Singapore, the United States, and more, which is convenient. With it, you don’t need to spend money on photo-editing services.

Passport Photo DIY is easy to use, with detailed instructions on its basic functions as well as how to print passport photos. However, as it is a paid program, do take note that you can only download its free trial version.

Passport photo at your fingertips

If you need a passport photo but don’t want to go through the hassle of going to a local photography studio, check out Passport Photo DIY. First, you need to select a country from the dropdown and choose a photo. After that, you have to locate your eyes, the top of your head, and the bottom of your chin by clicking on the photo.

To make the above-mentioned step easier, you can zoom in or out and rotate the image as you deem fit. Once done, click Next and the software will produce an appropriately sized passport image. From there, you can select between the following layouts: Single, 2 photos per 4x6 in, and 6 photos per 4x6 in. However, if you’re a free user, your image will contain a watermark

In that case, you need to purchase the program to remove it. It contains a comprehensive guide on how to print your passport photo. You can access it by tapping the “How to print” button. On the other hand, the text at the top of the screen can be expanded or hidden by clicking the “Expand” button on the right or the “Hide Instructions” button on the left, respectively.

Needs to be purchased

All in all, Passport Photo DIY is a convenient app for every globetrotter. As it is easy to create a passport photo for any country, you don’t have to go to a photography studio and pay for photo-editing services. However—if you’re only using the program’s free trial version—all images will have a watermark on them. Hence, you need to purchase it to produce watermark-free photos.
